The ToFuel project will hold its first Local Stakeholder Workshop on 23 November 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal, as part of the 7th ESEIA Conference | Green Energy Solutions: Current and Future Trends.

Organised in conjunction with the conference, the workshop aims to maximise stakeholder participation and foster early engagement with the project. The 7th ESEIA International Conference will be hosted by LNEG in Lisbon from 23–25 November 2026.

The workshop will gather stakeholder perspectives on feedstock availability, biomass pretreatment and carbon utilisation pathways. The input will help inform and validate project activities, identify technical and non-technical challenges, explore collaboration opportunities and collect recommendations supporting the development of sustainable biomass conversion pathways.

The findings will be brought into a plenary discussion to identify common themes, priority issues and possible collaboration opportunities.
